Christmas Ministries is an independent, member-led Christian ministry. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, controlled by, funded by, or acting on behalf of any Native American tribe, tribal government, tribal organization, tribal enterprise, religious denomination, racial or ethnic organization, fraternal order, or similar entity. No such organization directs, governs, or authorizes the activities of Christmas Ministries.
Our members share a strong belief in Jesus Christ and take seriously His warning concerning false prophets in Matthew 7:15–20. Accordingly, Christmas Ministries does not grant spiritual authority to any pastor, prophet, or other individual merely because of a title or position. Instead, our services are centered on Scripture, personal reflection, and the principle that individuals should be known by the fruits of their conduct.
Each weekly service focuses on a particular theme, such as love, forgiveness, hope, or compassion. Members submit relevant readings at least three weeks in advance, and those selections are organized to form the substance of the service. Participants are also invited to share how the previous week’s readings and discussion helped them face the circumstances and challenges of the preceding week.
Christmas Ministries is also deeply committed to serving veterans. We intend to sponsor religious and community events that raise funds toward the development of tiny homes for homeless veterans. In pursuing this mission, we may coordinate with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and other appropriate service organizations. Any such cooperation will be solely in furtherance of our veterans’ programs and will not create an affiliation with, or place Christmas Ministries under the control of, any outside organization.
